April 2009: the single, 'Catch Me If You Can' from 'The Tide's In ' CD is named a Finalist in the influential International Songwriting Contest.
January 2009: 'The Tide's In ' is named #32 of The Best 100 Albums of 2008 by the Zone Music Reporter.
May-October 2008: the single 'Doliber's Cove' spends 28 weeks on Sirius Satellite's Top 20 New Age Singles, repeatedly reaching #1.
April 2008: 'The Tide's In' debuts at #3 on The Zone Music Reporter's World/Ambient/New Age Charts.
January 2007: 'Dreams of Brazil' is honored as one of 25 albums qualifying for nomination as 'Best Instrumental Album - Acoustic' for 2006 by the highly regarded New Age Reporter awards, after zooming to #12 on those charts in the Spring of 2006. Among the other artists sharing the honor this year are fellow guitarists Ottmar Liebert, Alex de Grassi, Michael Hedges, and Will Ackerman. Also named one of their Best 100 Albums of 2006, at #68.
October 2006-April 2007: Featured on the Nationally syndicated Public TV show 'Frequency', hosted by jazz saxophonist Dave Cos (details noted below)
February 2006: 'Dreams of Brazil' debuts at #54 on the New Age Reporter charts, shoots to #12 in May (see below)

Look for Brian on the new Public TV show, 'Frequency', hosted by Jazz saxist Dave Coz. The show has been airing on US Public Television since October 2006, and internationally as well. Each show features a number of artists, and this particular episode includes Mark Knopfler and Emmy Lou Harris, Sean Lennon, and others along with Brian.

Dreams of Brazil
Recently debuting on the New Age Reporter Charts at #54, in February 2006, 'Dreams of Brazil' shot to #12 in May and has also been getting airplay in Europe, Canada, Japan, and South America (and Trinidad is loving it!).
Long Night's Moon
This immediate sometimes improvisational solo guitar music incorporates American folk, jazz, classical and latin idioms.
